| So for this mini lesson we had to watch a video of a guy rolling a skateboard off a ramp and we have to graph how far it went in how long it took to get there. As you can see, my predictions were nothing like the actual graphs. Mainly because I didn't know that the test was going to be done UP HILL. whoops. The zeroes on the graphs are basically the starting point, and the stopping point. So the ramp in the video is the zero, but yeah. Start and Stopping point. when the skateboard is first released, is when it goes the furthest in the shortest amount of time. As the skateboard goes on, it begins to slow down even though its still going forward. When the line starts to go down, is when the skate board is returning to the zero or start point. |
